Items from gacha boxes that have a timer, such as Cancri Backpack and Heart Face Painting start as expired, and are non-rechargeable on the site and thus are unusable as normal items.
They can be fused, but for accessory items like Cancri Backpack, it means they are completely functionless in the game as fashion isn't even an option for them.

I'd suggest simply making the timed gacha box items untimed, as they are generally the extremely rare drops, and their stats aren't anything that would affect the balance of the game in any meaningful way.
